CITY LINE

In today’s fast-changing society, people’s living environment and lifestyle are facing dismantling and reshaping. Through more than 20 years of observation of Wuhan and more than 4 years of accumulation of pictures and videos, the work records the history before the demolition of the old city of Wuhan. Images, the urban construction of Wuhan New City and the living conditions of people living in the new and old cities, and using deconstructionism to disassemble and reorganize the urban architecture, living landscape and people’s living conditions in the image, and finally unified into a linear image , To show the inadaptability and compromise after the personal living environment has been forcibly changed. Finally, the use of structuralism, using lines to unify the four images, represents the city forcibly unified  the people into a whole.
